38. Sad · verses 1–2

صٓۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ذِي ٱلذِّكۡرِ

Sad waalqurani thee alththikri

Sad: By the Qur´an, Full of Admonition: (This is the Truth).

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي عِزَّةٖ وَشِقَاقٖ

Bali allatheena kafaroo fee AAizzatin washiqaqin

But the Unbelievers (are steeped) in self-glory and Separatism.
