69. Haka · verses 5–6

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ

Faamma thamoodu faohlikoo bialttaghiyati

But the Thamud,- they were destroyed by a terrible Storm of thunder and lightning!

وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ

Waamma AAadun faohlikoo bireehin sarsarin AAatiyatin

And the ´Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent;
