9. Tevbe · verses 55–56

فَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ

Fala tuAAjibka amwaluhum wala awladuhum innama yureedu Allahu liyuAAaththibahum biha fee alhayati alddunya watazhaqa anfusuhum wahum kafiroona

Let not their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: in reality Allah´s plan is to punish them with these things in this life, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah.

وَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمِنكُمۡ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ يَفۡرَقُونَ

Wayahlifoona biAllahi innahum laminkum wama hum minkum walakinnahum qawmun yafraqoona

They swear by Allah that they are indeed of you; but they are not of you: yet they are afraid (to appear in their true colours).
