91. Shems · verses 1–2

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا

Waalshshamsi waduhaha

By the Sun and his (glorious) splendour;

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا

Waalqamari itha talaha

By the Moon as she follows him;
